My crease is not a half circle of ice with radius of 6 ft (1.8 m) – I had to look up the dimensions – and painted blue where no one can enter except the goalie before the puck .
No! Mine is a place of pro hockey, college hockey, junior hockey, high school, youth hockey, goaltenders, business, family, opinions, politics ( government has nothing on hockey politics), humor, friends and faith. My crease is full and busy. It is not smooth but roughened. And when it gets too rough, my wife runs the Zamboni through it and tell me its dinner time. Which is why I am minding my own crease…
